Accommodations
Incommunicado, a 1980 Ericson 30+ Sloop, has boarding gates with Pelican Hooks on each side deck via the Double Lifelines that were replaced in 2013. Enter the Salon via a wide Companionway with teak hatchboards, down three removable stairs to the Varnished Teak and Holley sole. The engine is easy accessible by removing the stairs which are attached to a solid teak front engine panel. Additional rear & Transmission engine room access is via a deep Port Cockpit Lazarette. The Galley is to Port and the Nav Table opposite to Starboard, with a Quarterberth Aft to Starboard.
The spacious salon has satin-varnished Teak Cabinetry and bulkheads, with a pedestal Teak dining table to Port with an L-Shaped Settee that converts to a double berth. The heavy-duty marine cushion upholstery throughout this vessel is clean and in like-new condition, and there are two fixed portlights on each side of the cabin, 12V Fans, and 12V lights throughout each area of the interior. One of two large opening deck hatches is above the Salon. Opposite is another 6'2" Settee with storage under and and a storage shelve above and outboard. All the teak cabinetry is in very good condition throughout the interior with the exception of the teak veneer paneling under and around the 4 fixed portlights in the Salon, which show water damage from window leaks in the past. These two sections of teak veneer can easily and inexpensively be replaced; and this would significantly add to the value of this boat when completed.
A teak magazine/chart rack is on the forward Salon bulkhead and 3 deep shelves are further forward to Starboard opposite the Head with a solid Teak door. The Head includes a manual marine toilet, connected to a 15 gal. Holding Tank, a sink with pressure water, a vanity with storage cabinets above and below, as well as an opening Portlight for light and ventilation.
All the way forward is another Teak-Framed, Opening Deck Hatch above the large V-Berth. A Teak storage rack is on the aft bulkhead to Port of the V-Berth, and nylon mesh Hammocks on either side provide additional storage. There is a addditional storage under the removable aft center cushion of the V-Berth.
