This Crealock-designed 1975 Westsail 42 Center-Cockpit Ketch is a well-maintained and updated blue water yacht with newer rigging, recently painted Aluminum Spars, chain plates, Stalocks on all standing rigging, and an updated interior, including a Custom Salon Dining Table, and Teak & Holley Flooring.

Long-respected as one of the best offshore cruisers ever built, Trust Me is ideal for a couple looking for safety, security, and comfort in open water. Bill Crealock, well known for designing a long list of serious offshore cruisers, including the Pacific Seacrafts, designed the Westsail 42 Cutter-rigged Ketch to safely cruise around the world in comfort.

The entire interior was re-done in satin-varnished teak cabinetry in 2001, compared to all the other Westsail 42's that have white formica cabinetry with some teak trim. Don't be put off by her age, because nearly every area and system of this yacht has been redone or upgraded in the last 10 years:

  • No Exterior Teak , Except Hand Rails
  • Awlgrip & Sterling linear polyurethane-painted topsides & non-skid decks,

This 1975 Westsail 42 Center-Cockpit Cutter Ketch is powered by a 84hp Perkins 4-236 Diesel engine with low hours since a rebuild. The huge engine room is spacious with multiple accesses and centralizes most of the mechanical systems in one location.

This yacht is located at the St.Petersburg Municipal Marina in beautiful sunny downtown St. Pete on Tampa Bay. The slip is available to the new owner so you can avoid an 18 month waiting list. Out of state buyers can now stay in Florida for up to 180 days and enjoy sailing and cruising here for awhile without paying Florida Sales Tax. So, what are you waiting for? You can be sailing all winter.

Call today to schedule a personal inspection.

UPDATE: The price has been reduced $20,000 to allow the new owner to replace most of the electronics and the Sunbrella to suit the type of cruising you plan to do.
