This incredible  50’ SEA RAY 500 SUN DANCER 1993 is located on the Gulf Coast of Texas near Corpus Christi.  She is powered with twin Detroit Diesels V692s with 550 HP each and only 299. hours since her major rebuild in 2011.

Sea Ray’s largest  Sundancer  model ever when she was introduced, the 500  Sundancer  was one of the most impressive express yachts on the market during the 1990s and still very impressive with her long foredeck and sleek profile.  The 500 Sea Ray Sundancer combined luxury and extravagance in a state-of-the-art package. Her sheer size is impressive enough, but it’s the expansive, high-style interior that caused first-time viewers to catch their breath. Here, laid out on a single level and presenting a panorama of curved bulkheads and designer furnishings, the Sundancer’s accommodations rival those of a motor yacht in her size range.

There are two private staterooms, two heads (each with a stall shower), a plush U-shaped sofa  aft, and a wide-open salon with excellent headroom throughout.  Her galley with complete culinary equipment allows for  cruising and entertaining. And her salon includes every comfort you would want at sea or dockside including accent lighting and heat/ac climate control.  The cockpit—with its triple companion seat, full wet bar, and circular lounge seating—can seat a small crowd. Additional features include a reverse sport arch, wide side decks, and a huge engine  room.

This is truly a world class cruising yacht by any standards and it captured both the American and European markets. Sea Ray was an early innovator of express cruisers and this model offered all the amenities of luxury yachts and the long, sleek sexy styling of the express; and guess what?  She was fast.

This 500 Sea Ray Sundancer  has 550 horse power Detroit Diesels V692’s cruise at 20 knots @ 12GPH and will reach 35 knots @ 22 GPH .  New Garmin 4212 with Fuel Management and Fusion IP700 at the Helm. She went through a refit by the famous Oliver Jones Mechanical Refit program in 2010/2011; and has only 299 Hours. This is truly a turnkey vessel ready for fun and adventure at sea, coastal cruising or at your private yacht club.  She is truly a spectacular yacht.
