The Annual Fort Lauderdale Boat Show declares itself to be the world's biggest boat show. The show features billions of dollars worth of yachts, super yachts, mega-yachts, power boats and sail boats including sportfishers, runabouts, center consoles, performance boats, cabin cruisers, express cruisers, trawlers, flats boats, skiffs, motor yachts, sailing yachts, catamarans, bowriders, jet boats, ski boats, canoes and inflatables plus electronics, engines and thousands of marine accessories from major marine manufacturers, distributors and builders from around the world. The added attractions include IGFA's School of Sportfishing, The Blue Wild Dive Show and Hook the Future's Kids Fishing Clinic. The Fort Lauderdale boat show takes in a total of more than 3 million square feet of show space, both on land and in the water, at multiple sites which are all connected by the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show Transportation Network.
Rightfully, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, lives up to its nickname as "Yachting Capital of the World" by hosting the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show annually, usually around October or November. The show exhibits yacht builders, yacht designers and brokerage yachts.
