Avalon Yachts define thoughtful design. The fully customizable Avalon 50 is available in one or two staterooms, one or two heads, and in a sedan or flybridge configuration. Each model can be customized to meet an owner's individual needs and lifestyle. A spacious floor plan to entertain a dozen for the day, an intimate dinner setting for a few friends in the evening, and just the two of you for the night - this is the Avalon Yachts. You will find no bulky engine boxes, awkward stairs or narrow companion ways as you walk from the extended swim platform, through the expansive cockpit, and into to the spacious salon. You will appreciate 360 degrees of visibility from every seat along the way. The interior décor that includes handcrafted Burmese teak, solid surface counter tops, custom carpet and fine Italian leather upholstery, speaks to the highest standards. Innovative comfort features including power windows, electronic engine controls and customizable seating arrangements will heighten your enjoyment. Features such as a wine chiller, pop-up flat screen television, and a multi-speaker digital sound system will make any entertainment opportunity an occasion. Available in 32’, 50’ and 65’ lengths, and in an express-hardtop or flybridge configuration, this truly unique line combines exquisite luxury, spacious living areas and awe-inspiring performance.
Spirited Performance. The Avalon Yachts line sets the precedence for a smooth ride and quiet operation. There is no softer riding or quieter vessel in its class. The knife like entry through the water, a soft chine mid section and a beamy, hard-chine stern ensure optimal performance in a head sea, down hill and at anchor. Choose from either IPS PODs or traditional propeller drives. Either choice will whisk you away for the weekend at speeds up to thirty-four knots. Engineered with proprietary noise silencing materials, the hull and mechanical compartments are fully insulated hull to provide a quiet, tranquil experience while aboard. Rarely do you find a craft that so successfully combines performance, comfort and luxury.
Advanced Construction. The Avalon Yachts line is built similar to a high-tech racing yacht where the construction process and materials used add strength and save weight throughout the vessel. E glass, vinyl ester and epoxy resins over Corecell linear foam are used to provide a very strong, but lightweight hull and deck. The hull and deck are joined with Plexus methacrylate adhesive. All bulkheads and fixed furniture are structurally bonded to the hull and deck for superior strength and rigidity. IPS PODs or traditional propeller drives are added. Large capacity fuel, water and waste tanks are installed. Generously proportioned berths and plenty of storage are built in. Together these features have created a vessel ideally suited for the offshore environment and extended cruising.
An Experienced Builder. Built in Australia by Mark Richards of America’s Cup fame, Avalon Yachts are the result of fine craftsmanship, thoughtful design and advanced construction technology. The original factory has been replaced with a new 100,000 square foot facility enabling all stages of production to be completed under one roof. Computer “CAD” systems and state-of-the-art tooling ensures precise construction. Over 100 highly skilled craftsmen labor over each detail for a flawless finish. The result is a fit and finish second to none, and durability to last a lifetime.
Value. Superior quality and finish, limited production, a long list of standard features and favorable Australian boat building costs and exchange rate. This is just the beginning of what ensure the value of your Avalon, however our customers will tell you that value has little to do with their enjoyment.
