This 26' Black Watch Sportfisher with a Pacific trailer is a superior offshore performer with diesel poweer, enclosed head, full galley, dinette and roomy flybridge, all in a trailerable package. Over $40,000 in options and upgrades were installed including Furuno Navnet electronics (48 mile radar, GPS plotter, 1000 watt fish finder/transducer, 110v power inverter, high capasity alternator, 170 gallon fuel tank, built-in (2.5 scoop) transom bait tank, two huge fish boxes, tackle center with sink and shower, high-pressure deck wash, radar arch (retractable), Pacific 3-axle trailer and more. Under the flush cockpit deck is a 240 horsepower Volvo D4 common rail diesel (low hours) with the new style Duo Prop drive.
Black Watch has the latest in new generation Deep-V hulls. Whether pushing into a head sea or running in a following sea, the Ray Hunt (of Bertram fame) designed hull is smooth, dry and responsive with no tendency to roll or wander. The fine bow allows the nose to be trimmed into a head sea without loss of speed and drill straight through rough conditions. The deadrise varies all the way to the transom where the hull exhibits an exit vee of 19 degrees. The new hull shapes are extremely soft riding, require less horsepower, and are drier than any other boat in their class.
Offshore safety and fishability is Black Watch’s foremost concern. All Black Watch sportfishers have hand-laid, solid fiberglass bottoms and extra heavy-duty stringers systems that contribute to the backbone of the boat. Watertight bulkheads run longitudinally to stop the travel of any water. Glassed in running strakes keep the water and spray down while underway while adding to the fuel economy. If you are considering a Skipjack, Boston Whaler, Grady White, Cabo or Blackman, you should see this one first!
