McKinna Yachts of Newport Beach, California has been building quality yachts since 1996. McKinna yachts are built in Taiwan by the renowned Lien Hwa Yard. Lien Hwa has 26 years of boat building experience and is well known for a variety of other quality yachts from 40 to 85 feet, including Blue Ocean, Little Harbor, Marine Trader, Tradewinds and Offshore Yachts.
The McKinna 47 is a well designed, well built, sedan cruiser with a soft covered flybridge and a protected open cockpit. Her interior offers a spacious saloon, U shaped galley and a welcome inside helm station. Forward and below are two private staterooms and two semi private heads. Her interior is a light and airy with maple hardwood paneling, flooring and built-ins, Corian countertops, many windows, soft vinyl overheads and mostly carpeted floors. She is powered by twin Cummins 6BTA 370 HP turbo charged diesels and can run comfortably at up to 20 knots. She carries 700 gallons of diesel. Fuel consumption varies from 3 GPH per engine at 8-10 knots to 10 GPH per engine at 17-18 knots. Her cruising range at these speeds is therefore about 600 to 1200 nm depending on speed. Typically most cruising is done at slow speeds with higher speeds used as needed.
Some equipment highlights include: a large stern swim platform, an Onan 8 kw generator, Automatic fire suppression, Maxwell remote control windlass, hydraulic trim tabs, two independent Marine Air HAC systems, two VacuFlush heads, Northstar DGPS chart plotter, Furuno 24 nm radar, Raymarine autopilot, two Standard Horizon VHF tranceivers, two Norcold refrigerator/freezers, KVH satellite TV antenna, JVC 27" television, two Sony am/fm/cd systems and a multi-station ship's intercom/phone system. She carries a Boss Boats 10 ft, fiberglass, unsinkable dingy, equipped with a Yamaha 25 HP 4 stroke outboard. See "Full specs" or the broker for additional specifications and equipment.
