Merlin is a classic Little Harbor 54 designed by world renowned Ted Hood.Her innovative hull design provides a generous beam and displacement, resulting in exceptional living and storage space.The keel centerboard design is stable and sea kindly with moderate wetted surface giving her good performance in all conditions.Although not needed to sail to weather, the board, when lowered, enhances windward performance.There is excellent all round visibility from the spacious center cockpit which is accessed directly from the side decks without climbing over coamings. The electric furling mainmast, electric winches and bow thruster allow her to be easily sailed short handed.Merlin is a 1990 model that features exceptional varnished teak joinery and a spacious accommodation plan with large salon and three sleeping cabins.She has been very well maintained and continually updated. Most recent examples are Raymarine E series chartplotter/radar, new rod rigging, Bimini, hull and deck paint, and new sails.
