Burger Boat Company and Sparkman & Stephens have well earned reputations of building and design excellence and Satisfaction, a beautiful 82'' classic Burger motor yacht with cockpit, is one of their most attractive examples.The Burger look, with stately flared bow, graceful sheerline, exquisite teak interior and quality of construction, is appreciated by all generations.Satisfaction is built of aluminum with five watertight compartments, bilge tankage offering a double bottom for much of her length, large open aft deck and full walk around side decks. The preferred galley up motor yacht arrangement with pilothouse helm station, salon and comfortable aft deck on the main deck is preferred by most owners.A generous aft cockpit (added in 1982) with swim platform, and walk in lazarette simplifies boarding from a tender, floating docks and the swim platform.The boat deck is ideal for fair weather cruising with large flybridge helm station, seating and tender storage.The wide foredeck has additional fixed seating and room for large lounge chairs.An impressive list of upgrades and improvements have been made to Satisfaction over the past 6 years.Examples are approximately $40,000 worth of new electronics; main engine in frame overhaul, new shafts, stabilizers,watermaker, and 40 hp bowthruster were all added in 2004.During the same year the hull bottom was blasted to bare metal and epoxied.In 2002 70% of the hull was paintedand 3 A/C units with SMX controls, new electrical panels with aircraft type breakers and new fresh water system were added.Additional upgrades and new equipment have been added in 2006-7.
