The PILOTHOUSE is magnificent with gloss varnished mahogany furniture and house sides and varnished teak and holly sole.
An L shaped settee to port with dinette table and two comfy upholstered swiveling barrel chairs opposite to starboard make this salon wonderful for entertaining. The optional full width mahogany valance over the windshields is beautiful. Helm and companion seats are Stidd 500 upholstered in Milkweed Ultraleather with Eucalyptus piping.
The standard stbd sliding helm door and optional port access door ease movement around the boat.
There is a custom console at the helm for electronics and a chart table is located at the companion seat.
The pilothouse is filled with light and air from windshields forward and opening windows to port/stbd/stern and deck hatches overhead.
Down three steps, the GALLEY is to port.
Very neat and functional the galley has a double basin polished stainless steel sink, three burner Force 10 propane stove with oven/broiler, microwave oven, refrigerator, insulated ice box, and dish storage locker.
Across from the galley is a GUEST Cabin/sitting room. This custom arrangement features a pull out double berth which doubles as a bench.
A removable table makes this area a great spot for morning coffee or working on the computer.

The Cummins QSM 11 has proven to be very reliable, quiet, smoke free, and fuel efficient. Digital engine control panel provides fuel flow, load, and other information not available with traditional analog gauges.
Under water exhaust contributes to making the ride quiet and fume free when underway. Electronic single lever engine control is silky smooth to operate.

DECK: Wide side decks, 6 SS grab rails, a high bulwark, and a full length bow rail make movement around Spartina safe and comfortable.
The extra optional sliding door to port from the pilothouse adds extra freedom of movement and ventilation.
Six overhead deck hatches and numerous polished SS opening portlights make this one of the airiest and brightest boats you will find.

HULL: Spartina has an Oyster White hull with Flag Blue boot stripe and Micron CSC green bottom paint. The hull has a narrow entry forward and flat sections aft which deliver a soft ride without pounding.
The flats provide additional stability and a lower riding angle for enhanced visibility at all speeds.
The full length keel protects the prop makes the boat track easily. There is a shaft line cutter just in case. With the bow thruster, this boat is very solid in the water and easy in close quarters handling. Under water exhaust keeps the hull cleaner and ride is fume free and quiet. Solid fiberglass rub rails on hull and aft quarters for protection. Solid stainless steel rub strakes protect the varnished teak toe rails.
Bottom is coated with Interprotect epoxy barrier coat for enhanced anti-fouling paint adhesion. Very important is the fact that the hull is made using Corecell foam core (no Balsa) with a Vacuum Infusion system for optimum glass/resin ratio and no concern for water migration.
