Accommodations Beginning forward is the Master stateroom with an island berth, and ensuite head and shower. Lighting is provided by two Queen Ann reading lamps and six overhead recessed fixtures on a rheostat. The head is aft and to starboard and features Vacuflush head, large separate shower stall with teak seat and corian counter/sink with teak vanity.Abundant storage is provided with two large drawers under the island berth, a bureau to starboard with three drawers and two lockers and a cedar lined hanging locker and bureau to port with an additional two drawers and locker. All areas finished in satin teak. A Sharp flat LCD TV with dedicated DVD player is to starboard and air conditioning control is located to port. Bose Speakers from the main entertainment system are located on each side.Aft and to starboard is the Guest cabin/Office featuring a settee that converts to a double. There is a large hanging locker aft with three drawers under. Work station forward. Two lockers and book shelves over the settee. The guest cabin has (2)GB reading lamps one over the berth the other over the desk, and four recessed overhead lights. This cabin a seperate a/c fan control.Opposite the Guest cabin/Office is the guest head with Vacuflush head, teak vanity and corian sink and counter.In the companionway is a stackable washer/dryer-Asko washer (model # W6021)and Asko dryer(model # T701)-separate units for increased capacity and faster washer and drying.Further aft is the Galley which features a Princess Clean Top electric stove with oven, a Sharp R-930 microwave/convection oven, Subzero refrigerator with teak door, and a separate top loading freezer built into the counter top. Twin polished stainless sinks with cutting board/Corian cover compliments the Corian counter tops. Generous teak storage lockers through out.TheSalon features a Stidd helm chair covered in almond ultra leather with blue piping to starboard and a powered hi-lo bench seat to port. The bench seat has a reversible back for use underway with teak chart table forward and with the back reversed, it becomes prime seating while entertaining. The bench seat goes up and down electrically to suit the situation.Aft and to port is an L shaped settee that converts to a pull out double with storage under. The pneumatic gas lift shocks allow easy access to storage below. Settee converts to large double bed. A high low two leaf teak table with maple inlay is inboard of the L settee. Two GB barrel chairs provide flexible seating options through out this appealing entertainment and living space.On the starboard side aft from the helm seat is a teak cabinet that contains a full Bose Life Style 38 surround sound entertainment center with speakers through out the salon. The Sharp Flat screen LCD TV is housed in a Aritex drop down unit. Both salon doors have the factory installed retractable screens. All opening windows and ports have screens and all have custom venetian blinds. Electrical System This Eastbay 47 is probably the only one that was fitted out at the factory with forward shore power, cable and water inlets. (2) Sharp LCD flat screen TVs complete the entertainment package. Electronics and Navigational Equipment Electronics on board are second to none for a yacht of this size. "Second Chance" features three independent systems: 1) Furuno, 2) Simrad and 3) a Dell Desktop computer with Windows XP, upgraded video card, Comark Marine -waterproof, wireless keyboard with Hula Point mouse(model 8429) for flybridge and lower helm, wired Dell keyboard and mouse for backup), wifi network card, wireless printer/fax/copier (all units installed remotely under studio cabin settee with two USB connecters at lower helm)Simrad, Dell and Furuno are linked by NMEA network to function as backup if one should fail.
