This Bluewater 5200 Motor Yacht was designed as a big boat that can go many places even in thin water. Bluewater Yachts are built to be "easy to handle at sea, yet would also be able to be nosed up on a sandy beach." That's what Bluewater founder, Jim Klapmeier, intended and according to reputation that's what he achieved. The 52 is a streamlined motor yacht with luxurious fit and finish, great handling in any water, and with room to enjoy your time on the water however long your cruise may be. She's a great day boat, sunset cruise boat, and extremely enjoyable for extended cruises with the versatile accommodations to do it all.
Starting at the top we have flybridge and aft deck with hard tops. The starboard upper helm station has doublewide
helm seat with a guest lounge to the port side. The helm features a hide-away electronics console that disappears when not in use. A full electronics package includes: Raytheon open array radar with color display, Raychart GPS/chart plotter, Raystar GPS sensor (SeaTalk), Raychart color fish finder & chart plotter, RayPilot auto pilot, Ray 210 VHF marine radio, and an AM/FM/CD stereo. The aft deck is large with forward wet bar with ice maker and refrigerator. Along the starboard side is the wet bar with cutting board. There's a large circular guest lounge with table for fresh air entertaining and dining. To either side are stairways down to the main deck and the salon. Aft is sun deck and a stairway down the cockpit/swim platform for fishing, swimming, or diving.
The carpeted salon is open, bright, and inviting. Forward we have the living area with lower helm station, helm seat, club chair, and sleep sofa. Aft we find a breakfast bar with overhead TV and full galley with full size refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, Corian counter top, electric cook top, double sink, built-in microwave oven, built-in coffee maker with can opener, and even a washer/dryer. Opposite the galley is a dining table and desk.
There are two staterooms. The forward stateroom has island queen berth, cedar-lined hanging locker, built-in TV/VCR, and ensuite head with shower. The custom aft stateroom doubles as office with hide-away queen berth which revels desk and counters. There's also a mirrored vanity, cedar-lined hanging locker, wash/dryer combo, and ensuite head with tub/shower. Sliding door gives easy access to the cockpit.
Hakuna Matata is powered by twin 400-hp Mercruiser engines, is equipped with a Westerbeke generator and a 48000 BTU air conditioner with digital controls.
