Click here to view all available photos Salon The 40''s interior layout is larger than you might expect for a boat her length. The excellent salon arrangement includes an L-shape leather settee to port. Stowage beneath the settee is suitable for fishing rods and or storage. A built-in TV is forward, adjacent to the L-shape dinette. Windows in the house face make the interior feel open and spacious. Please notice the custom teak flooring throughout the salon. It is absolutely beautiful giving the salon and galley a truly custom touch. Galley The galley is a step down from the saloon area and has a refrigerator/freezer, a glasstop 2 burner cooktop, a microwave/convection oven. The galley has plenty of counter space with additional storage throughout for extended cruising. Note that there is additional storage under the galley floor through a large hatch. Staterooms Down two steps from the galley is the large guest stateroom with upper and lower berths. The master stateroom is forward, with an island berth and innerspring mattress. The stateroom has direct access to the head, which is also accessible from the passageway. Both staterooms offer plenty of headroom and storage throughout. Cockpit Her cockpit has a molded-in tackle center with sink and chill box/freezer. An optional live well is molded into the transom and fitted with a view port. There is additional space in the lazarette for line and fender stowage. The 40''s cockpit has a unique self-bailing design. Water collects in channels along the sole''s perimeter and is dispensed through a rather large port hidden beneath the swim platform. A flapper valve prevents water from entering the cockpit while backing down. Cockpit features a unique engine room access through a cockpit door which is also molded for the cockpit sink. Foredeck The foredeck access is comfortable thanks to a well-placed bow and grab rails on the bridge side. The integral bow pulpit is designed with an anchor shoot. An electric windlass and anchor system are standard. The self-draining ground tackle locker is accessible from the foredeck. Bridge The bridge is laid out with helm and companion pedestal seating, positioned to provide a good view of the cockpit. Also present are bench seating, and a sink. The ergonomic helm console and angled wheel position are express cruiser-like in design. There is a molded-in radio box in the optional fiberglass hardtop. Access to the flying bridge is from the cockpit through the overhang. The owner has recently added new eisenglass enclosure and new helm chairs.
