The Rampage 30 is one of the new-generation Rampage designs introduced in 1999; she?s built on the same exacting standards as her bigger 38-foot sibling, on a deep-V hull with a relatively wide beam, and is a rugged and well finished boat that compares well with other high-end express fishermen her size. The roomy, self-bailing cockpit area was designed by fishermen for fishermen, with all the features experienced anglers demand, including a 38-gallon live well built right into the transom, fresh water and salt water wash-downs, a swing-out, walk-through transom door and gate, a large in-deck fish box, coaming bolsters, and a notably fully equipped, and well-designed tackle center with a sink. For service access, the entire bridge deck can be raised on a hydraulic lift. The cherry wood interior of the Rampage 30 is surprisingly plush (for a fishing boat) with berths for four, and premium furnishings and hardware throughout. Additional features include a high tech, tilt-away helm will full instrumentation, great electronics, a bow pulpit, underwater exhausts, trim tabs, and plenty of rod storage. This boat offers great performance and handling in all sea conditions, including the rough stuff, with her BIG twin 300-hp Yanmar diesels (only 800-hours each), that will cruise this vessel at 26 to 27-knots, reach a top speed of around 34-knots, while only burning around 16-gallons per hour of fuel. Her 800KW Kohler diesel generator<161 hrs>, powerfully runs her 2 AC units on the hottest of days. Respectively, the 30 Express delivers impressive cruising range for pursuing big game.
