(LOCATION: Naples FL) The Chris-Craft 501 Motor Yacht features a large flybridge, open aft deck, spacious salon, pilothouse, office, laundry, and three staterooms to insure room, comfort, and convenience. Whether you are planning a day on water, a weekend getaway, or a cruise to the islands this 50' Chris-Craft is ready to accommodate with classic style and modern accommodations.
On deck we start at the top with a flybridge with bimini top and radar arch. The forward helm station is well equipped with Northstar GPS/chart plotter, Raytheon radar, LCD display, auto pilot, tri-data display, intercom, Bose AM/FM stereo, Ritchie compass, and Horizon VHF radio. Seating consists of twin helm seats forward with wraparound guest lounges aft. The wet bar is at hand to keep guests and crew refreshed while they enjoy 360? views. Aft of the bridge seating is the home of an 11' Nautical hard-bottom jet boat with dinghy davit for easy launch and retrieval. The forward stairway leads below to the pilothouse.
The pilothouse features a full lower station with navigation system computer and LCD display, Raytheon Radar, Northstar Loran, Robertson auto pilot, Ritchie compass, and full controls. There are doors to either side leading to side decks and forward access. The large foredeck has stainless steel bow rail, fender racks, bow pulpit with anchor and windlass, and foredeck guest lounge. From the pilothouse house you can access the forward staterooms, office, laundry, and engine room via a port side stairway. The deck, the bridge, and the salon are all easily accessible from the pilothouse.
The large salon is bright, airy, and inviting. Rich woodwork, custom window treatments, and carpeting provide a comfortable living area. The salon features an open galley just aft of the pilothouse with etched glass window dividing the two areas. The galley is well equipped with cherry cabinets, Corian counter tops, integrated sink, dishwasher, four-burner electric range, microwave oven, and side by side refrigerator. A curved bar with three stools separates the galley from the seating area but keeps guests at hand while refreshments are prepared. The seating area of the salon has a large comfortable sofa starboard with coffee table, port side we have an easy chair with ottoman, and entertainment center with Bose Lifestyle system and flat screen TV with DVD. Sliding doors give access to an aft deck that provides an area to handle lines, do a bit of fishing, or relax in private and enjoy an after-dinner cigar.
There are three staterooms. The master stateroom is aft and is accessed by a spiral staircase from the salon. It features an island king berth, mirrored bulkhead, mirrored vanity, cedar-lined hanging lockers, flat screen television, and ensuite head compartment. The guest staterooms are forward and accessed by a stairway from the pilothouse. The guest stateroom is forward with upper & lower berths, hanging locker, and ensuite head compartment. The VIP stateroom is amidship with port side with double berth, hanging lockers, flat screen television, and private head. For those times when you can't leave work behind there is an office with desk and chair, filing cabinets, work area, and abundant storage. Across from the office is the day head, down the hall is the laundry with washer and dryer, and at the end of the hall is the engine room.
gemba is equipped with twin Detroit Diesel 550-hp engines designed to provide long-lasting dependable diesel power. Engines have 1661 total hours with approximately 500 hours since rebuild. Mechanical features include Onan generator and five Coastal Climate Control reverse cycle HAC units. She is well equipped with room to spare as a vacation getaway or a live-aboard.
