| Accommodations |
The Freedom 36 accommodates six in two private staterooms and a covertible dinettee. The cabins are spacious and the ergonomics are designed for real comfort.
6'4" headroom is unusual for a boat this good looking.
Oiled Teak interior is complimented by Alaskan Yellow Cedar hull ceiling strips and white foam-back vinyl overhead panels and all contribute to making this design elegant and inviting.
Upgrades to the interior include memory foam mattresses, new cushions in main salon, new lights throughout, new tinted glazing in the fixed windows in the main cabin, and new overhead panels.
Forward Cabin: A long vee berth forward with insert and recent memory foam mattress has storage under. A large overhead deck hatch and opening ports make this cabin bright and airy.
Drawers and lockers add to storage capacity.
There is a private entry into the head.
Head: The head is spacious with access from the main salon and fwd cabin.
Two opening ports and an overhead hatch ventilate this area well. Updated with a Sealand Vacuflush marine toilet, Sealand Macerator holding tank with overboard discharge, new Sealand Odor-Safe Plus head hoses, Grohe faucet with handheld wand for shower, and Shur-flo shower sump pump.
Main Salon: There is a settee to stbd and L-shaped settee to port which pulls out to convert to a large berth.
A bulkhead-mounted table with storage has two leaves which drop to sit six for dinner or fold up out of the way. Opening ports and a large overhead hatch with new solid teak trim.
The Galley is aft to port and open to the main salon and convenient to the companionway and cockpit. The U-shape provides lots of storage and counter space for meal preparation. A custom trap door accesses a waste basket outside the galley. Included is a three burner Tasco propane stove with oven, Tempo 577 fume detector, Adler Barbour refrigeration in 6 cu ft ice box, and double basin stainless steel sink.
Navigation station: Located across from the galley, there is a large chart table and swing-out seat. Well organized 110V AC and 12V DC panel and electronics installation make this area the hub of boat activity.
The Aft Cabin has a fore and aft double berth with memory foam mattress and opening ports provide cross ventilation.
