The Bayliner 3870 Motor Yacht became a super-popular Bayliner model because of it's extremely spacious interior. The innovative mid-cabin layout provides two staterooms, two head compartments, and roomy salon with large windows for panoramic views.
You come aboard to a large bimini covered cockpit. A transom door accesses the extended swim platform with room to accommodate the dinghy. Wide side decks give easy access forward. A stainless steel ladder leads up to the bridge with bimini top and full enclosure. The upper station is forward and center with captain's chair at the helm. There are companion seats to either side of the helm and lounge
around the perimeter of the bridge. Lots of room to enjoy your time on the water.
From the cockpit a centerline cabin door brings us into the salon. There is a
huge convertible dinette port side. To starboard is a salon wet bar with ice maker and forward the lower station. The full service galley is forward and down from the salon on the starboard side. It is equipped with 3-burner stove and over, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and stainless steel double sink. Across from the galley is the guest stateroom with double berth and the guest head compartment with head, vanity, and shower stall. Forward is the large master stateroom with island berth, hanging locker, overhead storage, and ensuite head with vanity. With lots of room for extended cruises Happy Hour V has made numerous cruises to the islands and up the east coast as far as Baltimore.
Happy Hour V is powered by twin Mitsubishi 135-hp diesel engines that cruise at 10 knots. She is equipped with genset, two-zone air conditioning, and has a full complement of electronics including Garmin GPS, Loran, Raytheon Depth Finder, and a new Auto Pilot.
