| -- DESCRIPTION -- |
The Kaiser Gale Force is a beautifully designed and constructed vessel. Just looking at her you immediately know she is one you can take anywhere touched by water. She is a safe, solid and seaworthy vessel, powerful yet easily managed.
The Gale Force 34 is almost perfect throughout and is as good as any of them. The smallest details were considered- from her high bulwarks to her powerful bow, a pretty sheer line, her outboard hung rudder with a trim tab to adjust for weather helm, rack and pinion steering and a proven offshore cutter rig.
The interior details are so well thought out it takes several hours of careful inspection to really take it all in. To spell it all out in this short space would be impossible, though a few examples might give you an idea. How about a nav top that opens up to almost double in size to create a larger chart table or additional counter or work bench space? Or an extra set of mounts inside a locker to be able to mount the dinette table out of the way when you want? Or fiddles on the galley counter tops to keep things from sliding while underway? Fiddler's Green is number 25 of 32 Gale Forces built, so you can imagine that by that point they had incorporated everything they could think of.
To truly absorb the level of detail that was put into this yacht you need to see her for yourself. If classic lines and the traditional looks of days gone by, clipper bows and rugged construction make your heart beat just a little faster, then you should take a look at Fiddler's Green for yourself.

| Accommodations |
Starting in the bow, there is a large anchor locker, accessed by a carved removable panel. The 6'5" long berth has shelves down both sides and the hullsides here as well as throughout the boat are covered with teak battens, lending a richness and warmth to the interior. Below the berth is a tremendous amount of storage. On the port side is a large vertical shelving unit with four open shelves, while on starboard there is a four drawer dresser with an open shelf above it. There is a door to the head from this cabin in addition to the door that separates this cabin from the rest of the boat.
The head, on port, has a teak grate floor. There is a manual head with storage behind and above it. The storage above has sliding doors and three shelves with dividers, creating 9 bin spaces. The single sink has a shower diverter and teak framed mirror above it. The stack for the cabin heater runs through this space, making for a nice warm room when you shower! Ventilation is provided by a dorade and opening port.
Across from the head is a large hanging locker that can also serve as sail locker storage. the full height door also serves as the door to the forward cabin. There is a porthole in this locker for ventilation.
Continuing aft into the salon, there is a Luke soapstone and brass solid fuel fireplace on port. Opposing 6'6" long settees on both sides slide out to make large single berths and have integral flip-up lee boards and storage below. Both have large storage areas behind drop down doors that form the seat backs. Above the port settee is an open shelf bookcase. Above the starboard settee there is more storage, with sliding doors in front of one shelf level and an open, divided shelf above that. The dinette table folds against the galley bulkhead when not in use and can also be stored in the hanging locker.
The U-shaped galley is located on port and has shelf storage located along the hull behind sliding doors, numerous drawers, an overhead storage unit and several dry bin storage units. The counter top has small fiddles dividing it into spaces- a proven method for keeping things in place while underway.
Moving around to starboard, there is a large tool bin beneath the top companionway step. Alongside that is a storage area for the companionway drop boards. A wet locker is on the aft end on starboard and refrigeration forward of that. An aft facing sit down nav station is forward of that. There is a desk/chart table with storage below, storage beneath the nav seat, storage bins and shelves and a removable electronics panel. The nav top opens up to create a stand up chart table and also serves as additional counter space.
The entire salon/galley/nav area has four opening ports and two very large Cherubini style tip open ports with screens that can be left open during inclement weather. The spaces are bright with antique white Formica counter tops, coach roof sides, head and ceiling panels. Headroom throughout is generally 6'3". The feeling is nothing but rich, warm and traditional. All of the floor panels as well as ceiling panels are removable. The upholstery is a deep, rich looking green.
