Reduced and Ready For OffersThis Bristol 42' Trawler yacht is heavily built in Bristol, Rhode Island (not to be confused with later models built in India). She is a rugged, full-displacement trawler. In 2005 she was completely refitted from the ribs to the flybridge by a team of professional yacht craftsmen and an interior designer. Over $395,000 has been invested in the renovation that took two years. She is a great buy for the yachtsman who values the best of a traditional trawler look, updated with luxurious amenities, a contemporary interior, and today's latest technological systems.
This classic-style hull was completely gutted to the ribs, and refitted with all new mechanical, electrical, electronic, plumbing, and structural systems; and her exterior is finished off with gleaming Imron Epoxy paint. She is repowered with reliable and economical twin John Deere 150hp diesels, new Twin Disc transmissions, an 8.2 KW Isuzu diesel Generator set, new sub flooring, Berber carpet, solid maple cabinetry, Corian countertops, quality galley and head appliances, and contemporary soft goods. All tanks are new and the water tanks are placed lower in the bilge than the originals to improve the center of gravity, performance and stability.
Her spacious master stateroom features an open plan and uses an AeroBed that can be stowed away when not in use. When the bed is stored in its wall-mounted enclosure. There is generous storage space and an office desk. Both heads are equipped with Raritan LectraSan electronic sanitation treatment systems. New antifouling coating and zincs as of 24 October 2009, no blisters.
