The quaint island town of Solomons is nestled in Calvert County, Maryland, on the protected waters of the Patuxent River. Solomons is Trawler Fest’s original venue and is an ideal stop for snowbirds headed south for the winter. The expansive exhibitor area allows attendees to try new activities, mingle with exhibitors, and visit a variety of boats before enjoying cocktails under the setting sun at Calvert Marina.
Hotels…The host hotel for Trawler Fest is Solomons’ Holiday Inn Select. There are several B&Bs located on the island as well.
The Marina And Coming By Boat…Slip space has been reserved at Solomons’ Calvert Marina for exhibitor and three-day attendees only. When you register for the event, you may also reserve a slip. Please note that slips are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited, so we encourage you to register early. Slip arrangements must be made through Trawler Fest.
Arriving By Car…Parking for the boat show is available at Calvert Marina. Please look for directional signs as you enter the marina. If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Select or attending the seminars, parking is available at the hotel. A water taxi and shuttle service will provide transportation between the Holiday Inn Select and Calvert Marina. The hours of operation are:
Wednesday: 5-8 p.m. (Land shuttle only.)
Thursday through Saturday: 7:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m.
Registration…
We encourage you to register early, as both slips and hotel rooms will fill to capacity. Also, you will save $$ on your Trawler Fest package by pre-registering by calling the Trawler Fest office toll free at 888.487.2953.
