Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors Show

Each year at the Annual Maine Boats, Homes and Harbors Show there's an exhibit focusing on the history of the Penobscot Bay and the many different ways that "Tradition Shapes Innovation" at the Penobscot Marine Museum.  Last year was the celebration of 75 years on Penobscot Bay.  One of the many exhibits was the Candace III an Elco that had been beautifully restored by Richard Stetson and his crew.  Other exhibits included a collection of antique cars, photos, films, ice boats and canoes.  We are looking forward to see what exciting plans they have for this year.

This show is the only in-water boat show in the state with a wide selection of boats in the water and hundreds of exhibitors on land including boat builders, craftsmen, designers, Maine's finest artists, architects, jewelers and furniture makers.  Vendors displaying marine products and boating accessories gives you the opportunity to do some shopping. 

There is something for everyone in the family, for your entertainment there'll be live music, a children's area with activities for the kids and fine food for everyone to enjoy plus the Annual World Championship Boatyard Dog Trails competition.  Pre-qualified dogs only, no other pets or dogs are allowed on the show grounds. The show will be held at the Harbor Park on the waterfront in Rockland, Maine.
